A short distance west of Arboga, along with the river Arbogaån and nestled in lush greenery, lies Jäderbruk’s Mansion dating back to the year 1329.
Jädersbruk is home to the company Färgriket, paints, and oils. The range includes paint, oil paint, wood oil, and products for construction and housing. There is a shop in Jädersbruk’s Mansion that sells all the products.
Jädersbruk also has its own foodstore. A Fairtrade, eco-labeled and 100% organic offering fresh vegetables, dried goods, and home appliances with one of the biggest selections in the Arboga region. Open Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
We participate in the yearly Jädersbruk Days and Art Tour when the doors to Jädersbruk’s Mansion are open to the public. People can participate in the courses we offer or hire Jäderbruk’s Mansion for weddings or parties. We also have a café & restaurant which serves balanced and healthy lunches every Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00. The Café is open all the time and offers coffee, a wide variety of teas, and healthy, home-baked desserts. Though we are normally closed on Sundays, if you´re really dying for a cup of tea and our no-sugar pecan pie, just give us a call and we´ll heat up the kettle.
Jäderbruk’s Mansion is a historic building and environment that requires constant maintenance. If you want to be a part of this work we are now accepting volunteers at Jädersbruk, for shorter or longer periods.
